The star having undergone surgery has received great support from his ever growing fans with numerous flowers and messages being sent to his room at the private clinic where he is currently residing.

Lippi has commented that he will give Totti as much time as needed to make a full recovery and will wait up until the very lastminute before the Italian team leaves for Germany 2006.
