Rome Film Festival 13 – 21 October 2006
Finally, Rome ha a film festival of its own. The first edition of “Cinema-Festa internazionale di Roma – Rome Film Festival” will be held from October 13th to 21st, 2006, with programs showcasing at Rome´s Auditorium and all Rome’s most symbolic locations.
he big challenge of the festival is that it seeks to get the entire city involved in an event that really is designed for the public: for people who love films but who have maybe never set foot in a film festival till now.
Seven gala evenings devoted to European or international first releases with their stars and directors in attendance, and engaging in conversations with the public on the craft of filmmaking. Plus special events of high entertainment value with the participation of the Academy of Santa Cecilia.
