The Eternal City

johannespaulii.jpgThis week has seen a great improvement in temperatures over the city and with the sun out and shining there is definately an increase in number of visitors to the city. With a max of 22 degrees this is certainly the best time of the year to visit the eternal city, as the sun is out and warm making it possible to make the most of the outdoor cafes and ice cream parlours without the intense humidity of the summer months. The great weather will be especially appreciated today the 2nd April as the Vatican hosts the anniversary of the death of Pope Giovanni Paolo II with thousands of pilgrims arriving in Rome during the past few days to pay their respect.
