1st May music festival is a big hit!

On the 1st May Rome hosted the annual music festival to celebrate the bank holiday for workers with an amazing line up of artists that played to thousands of music lovers from 15:00 until midnight! The long line up of idols included favourite italian musicians such as piero pelu’, Alex Britti, Caparezza, and Pino Daniele as well as international stars such as Hard Fi with their famous ‘cash machine’ song and Skin. The day was a great success with with perferct sunny spring weather to accompany the great atmosphere in Piazza San Giovanni where the enormous stage was placed. This concert is noted to be the largest free music concert in Europe uniting all different stlyes of music including Rock, Pop and Indie and many more.
