Rome Shopping Center Parco LeonardoAn absolute must for a shopping addict visiting Rome is the new, enormous shopping centre Parco Leonardo. It is the biggest shopping mall of all Italy, and one of the biggest in Europe, with its 210 shops where you can find everything imaginable from souvenirs to a new wardrobe Italian style. And that’s not all: Leonardo offers dozens of bars and restaurant when you want to have a refreshing break with a Cappuccino, ice-cream or even a Bellini, as well as a plenty of choice of restaurants for lunch or dinner: not just the usual pizza and spaghetti, but also for example Japanese kitchen!
Besides shopping, the mall offers a variety of other activities: bowling, slot machines, bingo, and even a disco! And not to forget the mega-cinema with 24 projection rooms showing all the latest films. Also keep an eye on the Parco Leonardo home page for the numerous concerts and other cultural events going on frequently.
Even though the shopping center is located out of the city center, getting there is actually quite easy. Just catch a local train from the Termini station, it’ll take you there in about half an hour, or alternatively take a train from Trastevere or Ostiense station.
