WINX on ICE
Several decades ago children were obsessed with beautiful Barbie and her boyfriend Ken, before that we all played with little baby dolls, but even dolls grow up, become mature creatures, gain magic powers, practically evolve. I want to talk today about the Winx. Today’s kids are really obsessed with these magician dolls, or fairies. It is an authentic Made in Italy product. I a real commercial success, I would add.
Winx Club is a cartoon animation film created by the Rainbow Spa Italian studio, based on an ori
ginal idea of Iginio Straffi and distributed in several countries. In Italy it was broadcast on Raidue and Rai satellite channels for children. The cartoon has also inspired a musical, a comic homonym and a host of merchandising products (cheese, branded accessories, figurines) with a target market focused on boys and girls with age ranging from 5 to 12 anni.
