Our Blogger: Lorenzo
Wonderful news for all those who love bikes and cars. During May a trip to Rome Italy does not only include a visit to its famous monuments and a tasting of the local delectable cuisine, but a stopover to the Monte Mario Motorcycling Circuit to admire vintage bikes, scooters and vehicles. On the 10th of May 2009 there will be a race between these vintage bikes and other historic vehicles. The race will be held at Castel Sant’Angelo right in the center of Rome near the Vatican. The entrance fee is 25 euros. The activity starts at 8 am and the race begins at 1 pm. The event is being held by Moto Guzzi Roma so if you need more information you can visit their website. It’s definitely an event not to miss!
From Yes Hotel or Hotel des Artistes, both located near the Termini station, is very easy to reach Castel Sant’angelo. All you have to do is take the bus 40 from the station and get off on the last stop. The route of this bus passes near many historical monuments, so you’ll do some sight-seeing on your way there!
