ITALY AND FASHION DESIGN: FROM SHOPS TO MUSEUMS!

To the art of dress design is dedicated the exhibition just launched at MAXXI Museum of Rome: until 3 May 2015, 80 high fashion garments belonging to the the period 1945-1968, coupled with Bulgari pieces of jewelry, will be on display.
Issued by the genius of Valentino, Sorelle Fontana, Balestra, Capucci, Jole Veneziani and many more, these items of clothing guide the visitors through the early stages of what is still known today as the Italian excellence in fashion design.
Venue: MAXXI Museum, via Guido Reni 4a.
Timing: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri 11am-7pm. Sat 11am-10pm. Mon closed.
