THE BEST CHRISTMAS MARKETS IN ROME

Christmas atmosphere has conquered Rome since some weeks, only Christmas stands and markets were still missing: according to tradition, they are set up between the last week of November and the first of December.
Below you can find a short list of the main spots in the city which you can take into consideration for your gifts or just for fun:
– “Christmas market” at PIAZZA NAVONA: the biggest & most traditional one. From 1 Dec to 6 Jan, 10am-1am. Here on January 6th (Epiphany day) a Befana (old witch) in flesh and bones will distribute sweets & candies to all kids.
– “Christmas at Auditorium Parco della Musica“: market, ice-skating, play area, open daily from 6 Dec to 6 Jan.
– “Magic Christmas” at Parco Rainbow Magicland: Christmas market in the amusement park until 6 Jan.
– “Le Vie del Natale” at Ippodromo delle Capannelle: 2000 m² market, on Saturdays and Sundays only, from 8 Dec to 6 Jan, 10:30am-midnight.
If you are looking for an unconventional Christmas market:
Japanese Christmas market at via Casilina 713: with old & new stuff, on 14 and 21 Dec only, 10am-8pm.
